Congratulations to the U12 Girls White team on their 1st place finish at the 2016 CASL Jr Showcase. 

The CASL Jr Showcase is one of the nation's premier soccer tournaments. The Girls U12 competed in the top division of the event  and matched up against some of the south east's top rated club teams.

Game #1 - Won 3-0 vs Georgia's #1 ranked U12 team (Inter Atlanta FC)

Game #2 - Won 4-2 vs North Carolina's #3 ranked U12 team (Lake Norman SC)

Game #3 - Won 6-2 vs North Carolina's #1 ranked U12 team (Wilmington Hammerheads FC)

Finals - Won 5-1 vs South Carolina's #3 ranked U12 team (Discoveries SC)

The main theme for their success was relentless team pressure when defending. Team's found it extremely difficult to create consistent offensive opportunities against our team's defending, which led them to this championship. 

"The result at this top level event is just one more accomplishment to add for this talented team as they went undefeated in all competitions this fall season", said Girl's Director and Team Coach  Drago Dumbovic.

The girls now take a little time off from competitions to focus on their training and local games, that will prepare them for the 2017 spring season.
